The main alloys used in Gunmetal castings are -LG2, LG3, LG4, PB, LPB, HTB. A material with excellent machining characteristics, good casting qualities, and moderate strength.Proportions vary but 88% copper, 8–10% tin, and 2–4% zinc is an approximation.
